Allison Brooke Jones is finally here!! :)

On Saturday April 16,2011 at 10:00p.m. i finally decided i could not stand the pain anymore and we made our trip to the hospital. Thinking i was only having Braxton Hicks Contractions i expected to be sent home within a few hours. When we got to the hospital the pain only got worse but when they checked me i was still only 2cm. So i had to wait till i was at least 4cm to get a epidural. When they checked me again i was already 5cm so they put in the epidural and i took a nap because i could not feel a thing but a little bit of pressure. Around 7:00 a.m the next morning the next shift nurse checked me and i was fully dilated. Waiting one more hour to find out with the doctor wanted us to do it was time to push. In three hours of pushing and getting more and more tired Allison Brooke Jones was born at 11:20 a.m. on April 17,2011. weighing 8lbs 4oz and 20 inches long.

I dont know who was crying harder her or me!! :)

We are doing great. Healing good and sore but i love spending time with my new little family! :)
